Centenary Cyclothon, 2016

In the continuing celebrations marking the 100th Year of St. Thomas’ College, a Cyclothon was held in which over 250 students and teachers of the college participated.
The enthusiastic participants were seen cycling with full vigour and motivation. Banners conveying messages for encouraging cycling and promoting environmental conservation were displayed on the cycles. The route continued from the College Campus along Subhas Road, going onto Rajpur Road via Eucalyptus Avenue till the National Institute for visually handicapped, from where the cyclists turned back and the Cyclothon concluded at Rangers College Ground.
After the expedition the Staff, Students and Ex-Students enjoyed the flash dance which was performed by the students, which conveyed the message of remaining connected to nature. The students also put up a dance act “Save the Girl Child” choreographed by Wilson Lakra noted performer and well known choreographer in Dehradun.
